 Building Community 

 

 TLT can be found in the vibrant community of Southwood; our large, bright spaces located at the west   end of the   Southwood Community Association since 2013.

​

 We believe that children play most freely and are in their element outside; where the wonders of nature

 are actively changing and ever-teaching lessons. Outdoor play and the importance of nature are a key   element in our Preschool, Childcare and OSC programming. 

​

 The Learning Tree is unmatched in usable outdoor space which is utilized in a variety of ways, daily. 

 All of our programs take full advantage of all the natural wonder the surrounding area has to offer.

 The Learning Tree Preschool and Childcare acknowledges we are located, learn and play, on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy,   including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation.   This is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
